Senior Business Development Manager



To close 700k+ of new business - both internally referred and sourced yourself - and help lead Spark Growth to 70% year over year sales growth.



As Senior Business Development Manager, you will drive Spark Growth sales by:

  • Identifying new business leads through Spark Growth and personal networks


  • Closing sales opportunities, from qualify to propose to negotiate to commit.


  • Managing the sales pipeline and forecast, reporting on key metrics


  • Managing the inbound lead generation process, reporting on key metrics




  • Closed business (revenue):


    • $700K - $1M of new business in Year 1


    • $1.0-1.2M+ in Year 2.


  • Leads personally sourced and closed (vs sourced by Spark Growth and our partners):


    • > 30% in Year 1


    • > 75% in Year 2


  • Exec team has complete visibility into the end-to-end pipeline


  • 80% sales forecast accuracy



Qualifications and Competencies

  • 7-10 years Sales or Business Development experience in digital marketing


  • Bachelor's degree required; management experience preferred


  • Confident and credible with senior executives


  • Highly developed problem solving and objection handling skills


  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets


  • Impeccable execution of solution selling and insight selling methodologies
