Onsite Technician

Primary Duties + Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of a Data Doctors Onsite Technician are to service and repair Windows-based computer systems, both in the hardware and software areas. However, many of our customers need onsite service including installation, configuration, and upgrading of desktop and laptop computers.

There will be opportunities to learn new things every day. This fast-paced industry never has a boring day as long as you are open to new challenges and opportunities. This position requires a strong ability to complete technical tasks and communicate them effectively to customers. Qualifications

We love providing opportunity to our employees to grow and strengthen their technical and leadership abilities. However, as a high-skilled position, our Onsite Technician must meet the following prerequisite qualifications:

• Experience Installing and Configuring Desktop Computers
• Design & Architecture Knowledge -- Best Practices Recommendations, Performance Tuning, Management, and Administration
• Email Accounts, Distribution Group Support, and Troubleshooting Experience
• Knowledge of MS Windows Server and MS Active Directory
• Knowledge of DNS and Naming Standards
• Working Knowledge of Email Archive Technologies
• Good Knowledge of Networking Concepts

While those are the set requisites for the Onsite Technician Position, we're giving bonus points for applicants with mail filtering technology and cloud technology experience such as hosted Exchange and Office 365.
