Scope:
We are seeking an outstanding Front Desk Agent to offer a smooth and efficient check in and out service and to familiarise guests with outlets and facilities in the hotel as a whole and in rooms.
To offer any assistance required by guests and acting as a Host while in the Lobby
To act as an Ambassador of the hotel with both guests and colleagues.
Kindly note - this is a full time permanent vacancy, regrettably we are not accepting trainee/intern CVs for this role.
Main Duties:
The Front Desk Agent should welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner and to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere in which the guests might feel at home.
To maintain the standard of excellence required in a "5 star" operation and environment to meet and exceed guests expectations
To actively promote The hotel services and facilities to guests in other hotel areas
To participate in team and cross departmental meetings and training sessions to acquire fresh knowledge and skills to improve personal performance to ensure a consistent guests experience
Requirements:
Fluent written and verbal English is essential
Second language preferred
Some previous experience in similar 5 star establishment beneficial
Technical expertise . Knowledge of Opera or similar hospitality software
Understanding of hospitality industry and legislation i.e. health & safety, licensing; employment law, Hotel or Industry & legislation
