Job Description

Assist Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping with day-to-day operations. Provide training, coaching, and counselling to all housekeeping employees. Responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms are maintained according to core standards in cleanliness, hygiene and security. Responsible for the day to day management of all Room, Public Attendants and Supervisors, including job assignments and monitoring performance.
• Provide on-going training and development to all housekeeping employees.
• Interact with all employees in the Housekeeping Department. Evaluate, coach, counsel and provide leadership support.
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms and provide feedback to room attendants.
• Manage administrative duties, including payroll and operating expenses.
• Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader. There is minimal direct supervision.

Requirements

High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years management experience in housekeeping at progressively higher levels of responsibility in hospitality industry.
