Description

1. Assist in the Collection, collation and evaluation of information from appropriate authorities including international civil aviation organization (ICAO), or International Air Transportation Association (IATA). Review and amended rules & regulations in Air navigation Act to ensure the validity and currency of the company aviation security programme (ASP).
2. Collection, collation, monitor reports from all sources and maintain accurate information for Threat Assessment and risk analysis to develop measures to prevent occurrence of any threat or incident to Bangkok Airways employees, customers, property, aircraft and facilities.
3. Assist in control and appropriately distribute security documents in any area of the operation where security measures are implemented both locally and internationally.
4. Prepare Training material for Aviation Security Training Courses and collect information to revise and update training course with accuracy and efficiency.
5. Assist the team leader to plan review, prepare and present aviation security courses to conform with Thai Laws appropriate authority, international civil aviation organization (ICAO), or International Air Transportation Association (IATA) when it update and amendment in rule and regulation.
6. Coordinate with other Divisions or entities concerning the preparation, attendance and presentation of Aviation Security courses
7. Assist in the Collection, collation and appropriate dissemination in a timely manner of security news, information and changes in procedure to other divisions within the airline and external entities as appropriate to encourage security awareness within the aviation community and the general public when appropriate.
8. Assist and support the team Leader in the review or development of standards and specification for physical characteristic, configuration, material, performance, utilization, application and service and procurement of equipment, services or procedures for the purposes of or use in the application of security standards and procedures. Including monitoring and evaluating capability for effectiveness and efficiency
9. Assist in the evaluation of screener performance at company Airports in quarter to ensure standard and acceptance. Include conclusion and recording result of screener test for internal and external audit
10. Communicate appropriately company’s , news and information with accuracy and efficiency including tracking and applying into practice
11. Perform any tasks related to key accountabilities above as assigned by superior.

Qualification

Education : Bachelor’s degree in field of aviation

Work experience :  

- Minimum 1 years’ experience in field of aviation security

- Experience in field of airline operations

Basic skills : 

- Good English skill (TOEIC 600up)

- Microsoft Office skill

- Good coordination and communication skill

- Able to work well under pressure

Other qualifications : Ability to travel domestic and international

Knowledge & Skill : 

  - Thorough knowledge of Aviation Security Law & Regulation

- Thorough understanding of Airline Security Operations

- Instructor skill
