About Your Job:
As the Senior Manager Innovation & Knowledge Management you will be responsible for the developing and delivering the learning technology strategy that will enable the QR Group in becoming a high performance learning organisation. You will engage with stakeholders and external vendors to explore new methods to effectively manage knowledge within the Airways Group. One will also be responsible for trials and deployment of new learning channels to support formal and informal learning such as collaboration platforms and mobile/wearable learning devices.
You will be challenged to provide strategic direction for HR services and IT teams on learning technology, including ongoing operations of existing tools and future learning technology architecture. The incumbent will be required to have the ability to serve as a single point of contact for all technology innovation matters related to KM , knowledge sharing and collaboration. You will be required to keep up to date with new developments in technologies , and leverage functionality into existing or new product solutions.
One will lead and inspire the innovation & knowledge management team. It will be your responsibility to create solid professional relationships with management at all levels within the business. As an ambassador for the HR-Talent Development team you will forge and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while motivating project teams through effective monitoring, coaching and providing a positive working environment.
About You:
You will hold a Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred) from a recognised university, ideally with a focus in Human Resources, IT or Learning related qualification.
10 years experience in managing large scale learning technology architectures and solutions within global organisations (corporate or partnerships), with project management experience including scoping, leading and delivering projects within the parametres of cost, quality and time experience is an advantage.
Experience in one or more of the following disciplines are desired: extensive experience in learning content management, LMS solutions and learning design and development tools and techniques, delivering complex projects, ability to review competing technologies and products to identify the best solution, excellent knowledge of the latest learning technologies and strategies in the market place. Your experience and strong learning background, including experience in implementation of learning technology on a global scale in a multi-cultural environment and significant people management experience, will be a valuable asset.
