Requirements
* A Part 66 B Licensed Aircraft Engineer, carrying out zonal or area supervisory duties as required by the line manager
* Also employed as an aircraft mechanic and certifying engineer
* Co-ordination of all staff allocated to their control within their work area, provide briefings, guidance and support as necessary to deliver assigned daily work plan
* Ensure ‘area’ handover log is completed at the end of shift
* Ensure ‘house-keeping standards’ are upheld, and an ‘End of shift’ clean-up is performed and team secondary duties completed
* Maintain the discipline / behaviour of all staff within their work area to promote a professional image to internal & external customers
Abilities
* Good knowledge of commercial requirements of aircraft maintenance, and an ability to communicate effectively with customers
* Must have good people management skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team in order to progress work in a timely and safe manner
* Recognise patterns of behaviour that have a potential impact on the performance of others
* Good knowledge of department procedures and health & safety requirements
* Carry out appraisals of team members in line with the way we do business

Salary - Up to E1 at £33,507 per annum dependant on experience plus Shift Pay and Approval Pay.
