Reporting to the Operations Safety Manager, you will be a self-motivated individual responsible for extracting data from multiple sources and analyzing the data to identify trends and safety issues. You will take a key role in the development and structure of the safety database to maximize the available output.
The key role outputs include:
• Statistical analysis of safety performance against KPIs;
• Development of statistical models to assist the identification of operational hazards;
• Production of safety performance data and reports for operational and safety teams;
• Management and administration of safety database;
• Development of new reporting and analysis techniques;
• Production of safety meeting agendas, reports and minutes.
Abilities
• Degree in maths/statistics/data analysis;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Proven data analysis experience;
• Experience of working in a demanding, performance focused environment;
• Experience of consolidating large quantities of information from a multitude of sources;
• Ability to challenge existing data assumptions;
• Ability to identify and implement new methodologies;
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex data output to different audiences;
• Excellent written/reporting skills;
• A keen eye for detail;
• Organised and efficient approach.
Salary - M2 £26,307 per annum
