Requirements:
Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for the long term crew planning and resourcing activities of Flybe by setting and tracking resource levels for optimal use and responsible for Crew Roster preparation and publication.
The key role outputs include:
•Lead and manage the Crew Resourcing Planning Group
•Drive strategic plans with specific responsibility for Crew Resource Planning.
•Contribute to shaping the strategy, developing supporting business cases, creating implementation plans and driving change
•Management of Resource Plans and Rosters
•Maintain long-term, short-term and budget resource plans to achieve optimum crew utilisation and minimum costs
•Oversee the structural development of the resource plans to continually improve on ability to forecast, monitor and evaluate resource planning
•Provide continuous adjustments based on the Operating Plan modifications to ensure that Crew resource levels support an efficient airline operation
•Manage all aspects of Flight and Cabin crew rostering, ensuring the product is in compliance with regulatory guidelines on legality and fatigue and that it meets the company requirements
•Develop long-term, short-term and budget resource plans to accurately meet Flybe’s schedule requirements
Abilities:
•Significant proven experience in crew planning of which at least 5 years being at a senior managerial level
•Demonstrable experienced and professionally equipped with crew resource planning processes, methodologies and optimisation systems
•In depth experience and knowledge of regulatory rules affecting crew resources planning including Flight Time Limitations (FTL), Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) and movement of crew for upgrade/transition training
•Proven line management experience including, recruiting, selecting, coaching and developing employees
•Strong and well developed management and leadership skills
•Highly developed planning, analytical and problem solving skills
