Requirements



To maximise performance by partnering with operational management providing high quality: 
• analysis and presentation of financial results in a clear and coherent way that is easily understandable and actionable 
• Insightful and robust challenge to the business
• Ongoing focus on cost
• Ongoing focus on process improvement
• Ongoing focus on margin improvement
• Engage with operational management to deliver clear and meaningful information on how best to develop the business
• Utilizing your understanding of the business interpret financial performance to identify risk and opportunities
• Support and manage the budget and forecasting processes, providing relevant data and information to the finance team and reviewing the output
• Provide the key link between the business and finance by building and developing relationships to support both functions and bringing the company closer together
• Provide support to business leaders acting as a sounding board
• Able to provide the role with significant gravitas

Abilities
• Self-motivated with a focus on timeliness, accuracy and delivery
• Advanced understanding of Accounting and Reporting 
• Mature, credible and comfortable in dealing with senior management
• Ability to build strong relationships and be a team player
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Advanced skills of analysis and interpretation
• Adept in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable with different IT/information systems

Salary up to £50,000 M7 depending on experience.
