About Your Job:
In this exciting new role you will provide support to both Regional Marketing Manager and Regional Direct Sales Manager for Africa to plan and execute activities, with an aim of supporting regional & station objectives, to increase the profile, awareness and loyalty of all Airways products, in accordance with the agreed marketing & e-commerce business plans and strategy.
You will contribute to the planning and implementation of the Marketing & E-commerce strategy that targets existing and new markets, as well to increase sales & direct-sales share and self-servicing penetration. Assists in the creation and implementation of the marketing plan and ensure cost effective use of the Marketing spend across the region.
You will work in consultation with the Regional Marketing Manager & Regional Direct Sales Manager to assist in the development and implementation of customised marketing plans for online and offline stations in Africa. You will assist in the structure and implementation of the Regional Marketing plan to optimise the company's presence in the region, achieve revenue targets, booking conversion rate and online penetration for the Airways Africa, ensuring to maximize value from marketing spend in all stations. You will coordinate, co-manage and support initiatives from both RMM & RDSM.
You will carry out activities according to agreed budgets, sales volumes, product, and time scales to increase relevant traffic flow to QR.com, sales conversion, increase awareness, and raise the company's profile in the region. You will monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information and ensure that ROI can be measured and monitored for each marketing/ e-commerce activity whether regional or at a station level.
You will assist in developing an integrated PR plan to achieve maximum PR benefits with brand integrity within Africa in line with the company's Regional Marketing & Corporate Communication strategy. You will ensure that Qatar Airways websites are updated with the latest information and special offers.
You will prepare a monthly report for the RMM & RDSM on the activities, successes, learning curves and updates.
Your responsibilities will extend to the Frequent Flyer Program, Privilege club where you will gear campaigns to meeting annual targets as well as achieving extensive and relevant visibility on main social media platforms. You will also be required to develop and implement initiatives to increase e-newsletter subscribers and achieve online check-in targets.

About You:
You will hold a Diploma, Associate Degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years job related experience.
You will have proven commercial skills and business acumen along with a good knowledge of the travel industry. You are able to influence and negotiate effectively as well as the ability to take effective decisions. A strong team player capable of also working independently is required. Previous experience in a marketing role with digital experience preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication in English is essential.
