Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, some of the key responsibilities of this role are:

 

  • Carry out Line maintenance on company aircraft
  • Ensure timely and correct work is carried out safely
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with team members, contractors and any outside service providers
  • Comply with "Be Safe" and OH&S requirements

 

 

To be considered for this role you should have:

 

  • Be qualified as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a valid certificate (Cert IV Aeroskills)  
  • Have experience working as an AME in a Line maintenance environment on A320/321 with sound knowledge of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations
  • The ability to breakdown problems, assess and interpret options and develop solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a team
  • Ability to work rotating shifts
  • Experience with Trax or similar computer systems
