We are currently looking to recruit a Door Supervisor to join our Concierge team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional and customer focused service to our guests, ensuring their every visit will become a memorable one.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in overseeing all front drive operations with a focus on ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided.
  • Represent concierge department in resolving any guest or hotel related situation.
  • Manage the flow of questions and direct guests within the front drive.
  • Serve as assistant to chief concierge and handle the tracking of flawless service for guests.
  • Assist in managing the day to day operations of the Concierge team.
  • Provide hands on leadership to the front office team.
  • Ensure robust arrival experience and guest recognition is in place to drive strong guest experience scores.
  • Serve as or provide immediate assistance to the chief concierge in achieving and driving guest satisfaction goals. 
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with all departments to support hotel operations and goals and to expedite the resolution of any problems that may arise through the general operation of the hotel.
  • Observe service behaviors of associates and ensure that all front drive associates are properly attired and groomed, each wearing a nametag and appropriate brand standards, provide feedback to individuals.
  • Participate as needed in the investigation of associate and guest accidents. 
  • Understand and comply with loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Empower associates to provide excellent customer service by setting a good example in displaying outstanding hospitality skills. 
  • Conduct monthly job chats, half yearly and yearly performance management along with the chief concierge.
  • Emphasize guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of our company's policies and procedures as well as brand service behaviors and have full knowledge of the hotel amenities and local events.
  • Be aware of emergency procedures such as fire, ambulance, and police in order to clear areas for their use.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

The successful candidate will display the following skills and attributes: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous guest service supervisory experience  
  • Excellent communication skills in English 
  • Positive attitude and interpersonal skills
