New Zealand Port Manager

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the creation and development of third party service level agreements including monitoring and managing operational performance and confirming compliance with established policy and procedures.
  • Representing company's interests at all Ports and building strong relationships with airport operators and other major stakeholders. 
  • Delivery of customer experience, operational, financial and safety goals and KPI's for Jetstar Airways across all NZ ports.
  • Contribution to the continual enhancement of Port performance against agreed objectives and KPIs including short-term and long-term business planning.
  • Engagement of third party suppliers to ensure consistent representation of the Jetstar brand and values.

Key criteria includes:

 

  • Experience managing either a port or other operational unit will be highly regarded
  • Exposure to leading and managing large teams with proven track record in consistently exceeding set metrics
  • Experience with dealing in a complex business environment and engaging, negotiating with, and influencing stakeholders at all managerial levels, both internally and externally
  • Experience managing third party supplier relationships will also be very highly regarded.
