Qualifications  

Requirements:

•Bachelors degree

•Minimum of 5 years cruise ship, maritime, or industrial/public safety experience with primary responsibilities in training, implementation and administration of safety systems and procedures

•Knowledge of basic industrial hygiene

•Proficiency in English is required to understand and interpret procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors, and co-workers

•Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Office and other related programs

•All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D visa (and other relevant visas) when applicable

•Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training

Preferences:

•USPH Certification

•Shipboard experience

•Understanding of United States Public Health and outbreak prevention, management and response procedures
