About Your Job:
The Senior Officer Specialty & Partnership Sales will support the Manager Specialty and Partnerships Sales in managing and developing the specialty sales portfolio. This will include account management, performance review and analysis, updating trends of specialty segments, monthly performance report, regular fare reviews of global fare grids and contracts preparation and maintenance.
You will provide support to manage relationships with existing partners and build relationships with new partners to achieve revenue targets to the Specialty Segments. You will conduct periodical benchmarking and fare reviews of fare products within Specialty Sales in coordination with the field and trade partners. You will manage the distribution lists associated with all Specialty segment related fare products and prepare the necessary reports on regular basis for performance review. You will liaise and negotiate with internal stakeholders such as Pricing, Global Sales, Legal and Finance to ensure necessary requirements are address to grow the specialty sales efficiently. There will be regular follow-ups with stations on the usage of marketing fund agreed as part of the PLB agreements.
About You:
You must have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of job-related experience in Travel Trade or Airline environment. You must have good network knowledge of travel industry and strong conversant with Sales process flows. You must have good understanding of Pricing and the systems tools related to it.
You must have strong analytical skills and strong MS Office suite knowledge specifically Excel and PowerPoint. You must be capable of handling and processing large blocks of data and able to derive analysis to evaluate processes and make recommendations for improvement. Good knowledge of specialty marketing and distribution technology are important requirements of the role.
You must have a proven ability to work and negotiate in a multi-cultural environment as well as having excellent English communication skills is important. You must have good commercial acumen and conversant of different sales processes.
