About Your Job:

The supply chain analyst will be responsible for the collation of departmental reporting for the Distribution Centre and overall supply chain operations. This role is essential for the analysis of departmental costs, efficiencies, process improvements and implementation. The individual will be responsible for communicating effective analysis that will be utilized to support business decisions that drive growth.

Accountabilities:

Perform detailed data and process analysis to identify and understand supply chain issues affecting the Warehouse and wider retail business.

Identify supply chain improvement efforts and recommend strategies using data as a foundation, preparing clear and concise business reports & reviews to assist management of products / categories and accounts.

Develop data driven business cases to support improvement efforts.

Assist in developing supply chain models and processes to optimize supply chain strategies as directed by Logistics Manager with goals to deliver excellent customer experience while balancing operating costs.

Support the Logistics Manager and Procurement Team by provide reports and analysis as required.

Organize information into presentation format by studying, analyzing, interpreting and classifying data.

Under the guidance of the Logistics Manager participate in Supply Chain initiative and optimization efforts/projects (e.g. RFID)

Develop category stock on hand reviews for internal and external stakeholders

Establish reports for supply chain lead-time/ performances through developing pick rates versus demand plan.

Develop and track KPI’s associated with order cycle times.

Gain solid understanding of business processes and relevant key data. Utilize this experience to aggregate internal and external data sources to build a complete supply chain story (e.g. SLA agreements.

Qualification, Education and Skills

Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ of job related experience with at least 3 years in a analyst role in a large Supply Chain Management department / retailing company. You must have prior experience in working for a high performance driven organization and knowledge of airport and service industry is preferable. You will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain management or business from an accredited institute with warehouse I.T systems working knowledge and expert in Ms. Excel, proficient in power point and comfortable in building presentations.
