Department:

As a Senior Cargo Sales and Services Agent, you will provide maximum support to the sales force in order to achieve revenue / tonnage targets for station while ensuring smooth flow in cargo operations. Provide proper operational and customer service support including interaction with customers and GHAs for QR cargo both imports and exports to enable the station to meet the cargo targets. You will help identify needs and improve cargo sales, service and operational performance for station. You will ensure full compliance at all times with safety and security regulations as per local government and company requirements.

You will maintain regular contacts within the local Cargo industry to obtain local and regional insight. You will be involved with staying on top of local Government Regulations relevant to the respective station to ensure smooth cargo operations.

Person:

You must ideally have a high school qualification. A Trade or Vocational qualification is essential. Your MS Office Skills must be at an advanced level. You will have a minimum 2 years in the Cargo / Air Freight Industry in a similar capacity. You must have an excellent command of written and spoken English , and currently be legally eligible to live and work in Kenya.

You should have knowledge of IATA/TACT regulations, basic cargo handling, DGR and live animal regulation. Knowledge in Cargo sales will be an added advantage.
