Job Description:

As part of the spa operation, the Spa Therapist is assisting in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in all aspects of their work. She ensures all treatments are carried out to the highest standards and cleanliness is maintained at all times. The Therapist also ensures that departmental goals and targets are met. Due to the nature of this role, only female candidates can be considered.

General Responsibilities Include:

• Is responsible for the equipment, products, cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment areas
• Promotes and sells the services of the spa and maximizes the potential of all sales
• Adheres to the training as set down by the Spa Manager and Head Therapist
• Maintains the standard level of stock and uses the correct quantities of products as specified by the manufacturer and does not exceed that amount
• Is responsible for keeping up the high standard of treatment and service

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Excellent communication skills in English
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Proficiency in Micros and Opera is an advantage
• Enthusiastic and highly motivated
• Customer focused and sales-oriented

Qualification Standards:

Education: High school certificate or equivalent

Experience: Needs to have a minimum of two years of previous work experience in spa therapy as well as previous work experience in a five star hotel
