Qualifications & Experience:
The candidate brings along a minimum of 6 – 10 years experience as an Executive Chef in outstanding luxury 5 star hotel properties, with good knowledge and exposure to Asian, Western and Fusion culinary trends, having:
- International experience in luxury hotel properties in trendsetting locations such as London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai
- A strong people and team focus with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a large high performance team
- A conceptual thinker who is innovative, as well as being highly interested and up to date on international culinary trends
- Able to actively monitor present and future business trends to ensure the hotel is competitive in the market
- Committed to exceed guest expectations through delivering high quality services and products
- Exceptional communication skills, you are passionate, strategic and innovative
- Excellent hospitality skills with the confidence to proactively interact with hotel guests
- Self-confident, intuitive and able to prioritise and make effective decisions
- A calm demeanour, naturally pleasant and helpful towards guests and colleagues alike
- Excellent interpersonal ability to build strong and lasting relationships, interact and influence others at all levels, within and outside of the organization
- Certified in Intermediate Food Hygiene, with certification in Advanced Food Hygiene an advantage, and experienced in working in a HACCP certified kitchen operation
- High computer literacy, with a strong knowledge of MS Office applications to maximise departmental efficiency of internal communications
