Job Description:

The Door Attendant is responsible for creating a delightful arrival and departure experience from the time our guests arrive at hotel. The Door Attendant is also able to guide our guests with knowledge of all the hotel’s facilities, products and services.

General Responsibilities Include:

• Ensures that the hotel’s driveway and main entrance are clean and free of traffic
• Ensures efficient and reliable taxi services are available to our guests
• Establishes and develops personal contact with guests, remaining professional at all times
• Maintains guest privacy at all times

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Excellent English communication skills. Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Accustomed to handling customer complaints of varying severity
• Basic Knowledge of computers, e.g. Internet Explorer, Word and Opera

Qualification Standards:

Education: High school certificate or equivalent

Experience: Needs to have a minimum of one year experience at the Bell Desk of a five star luxury hotel, preferably in the United Arab Emirates.

Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)
