Job Description:

The Server is responsible for providing efficient service to all guests according to company policies and performance standards.

General Responsibilities Include:

• Organizes mise en place ahead of service
• Prepares condiments and ensures that adequate quantities of linen, cutlery and crockery are available
• Familiarizes him/herself with food and menu terminology
• Offers quality service at all times
• Ensure orders are thoroughly checked before serving to the guest

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Excellent English communication skills. Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage products, menus and standards of service
• Ability to acknowledge and respond to guest feedback adequately
• Organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of guests

Qualification Standards:

Education: High school certificate or equivalent

Experience: Needs to have previous experience in food and beverage service, ideally in a five star environment
