Job Description:
The Server is responsible for providing efficient service to all guests according to company policies and performance standards.
General Responsibilities Include:
- Organizes mise en place ahead of service
- Prepares condiments and ensures that adequate quantities of linen, cutlery and crockery are available
- Familiarizes him/herself with food and menu terminology
- Offers quality service at all times
- Ensure orders are thoroughly checked before serving to the guest
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Excellent English communication skills. Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
- Knowledge of Food and Beverage products, menus and standards of service
- Ability to acknowledge and respond to guest feedback adequately
- Organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of guests
Qualification Standards:
Education: High school certificate or equivalent
Experience: Needs to have previous experience in food and beverage service, ideally in a five star environment
