About Your Job:
As the eCommerce Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing IBE sales through digital campaigns and maintain qatarairways.com as the key direct sales channel for the airline by managing website content and resolving technical issues. You will optimise the company visibility and support and implement social media activities. In addition, you will implement campaigns aimed at achieving database targets and provide support in eCommerce data mining. A key focus of your role will be to manage the company’s online presence in order to strength strategic online partnerships and improve overall customer experience.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Supporting the implementation of promotional campaigns to achieve the target revenue for the region. This includes language translation, creation of online banners, creation of dedicated landing pages and the updating of website content.
- Providing support to the eCommerce Officer regarding online marketing activities aimed at increasing relevant traffic flow and sales conversion using PCC, SEO, Display, email marketing, social media (Facebook and Twitter) and affiliate campaigns, ensure delivery of all campaign applications on time, to budget and to the highest standard
- Proposing sales strategies for the continued growth of qatarairways.com, including regular benchmarking against key competitors and delivering the QR direct strategy
- Creating, modifying and managing website pages to ensure site information is kept up to date and meets commercial objectives and legal/best practise requirements.
- Developing and implementing initiatives to increase eNewsletter subscribers and Facebook fans to achieve targets
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or eCommerce combined with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Exposure to the airline or travel industry would be well regarded. Fluency in English and Spanish (written and oral) is required.
