As a Front Office Supervisor you are responsible for managing aspects of the Front Office to deliver an excellent Guest experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ensuring the highest level of guest service by exceeding guest expectations to build loyalty.
Overseeing the daily operations of the Front Office, managing arrivals, departures, group and tour needs.
Meet service quality standards that affect guest satisfaction; respond to guest questions or problems in a timely, professional manner.
Meet the resort standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, attendance, and punctuality.
Maintain high morale for guest services shift; teach front desk staff how to operate computerized reservations system; solicit suggestions or input from other members of the front office team; coach or counsel team members effectively; staff consistently achieves standards for the department; discuss problems with employees as they come up; understand the resorts’s human resources policies and procedures; treat all employees fairly; use appropriate staffing levels for work demand; promote hotel service standards and policies
Leading the achievement of the department’s revenue goals through training, motivation, promotion and incentives in pursuit of our room upsell
Conduct pre-shift meeting with staff and review all information pertinent to the day's business
Monitor the check-in/check-out process; anticipate critical situations and assist wherever necessary to help alleviate the pressure and to process the guest expediently
Monitor the staffs' interaction with guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service; resolve discrepancies with respective personnel
Assist guests with reports of lost/stolen articles, following resort policy
Assist Accounting in researching all disputed charges and contact guests where required to explain disputes regarding Front Desk procedures.
Ensure that all VIPs are pre-registered according to standards. Monitor VIP arrivals; greet and escort them to their room
Must be able to drive golf carts
Must possess a professional presentation
Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal and communication skills
Computer literate in Opera is an advantage
Computer literate in Excel is a must
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
High School Diploma or Bachelor degree in hotel management
Fluent in spoken & written English·
Proficient in Microsoft Office Good health, well groomed and with high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
Physically strong, energetic and dynamic person with a positive and motivated attitude an exercise self-control Self-motivated,
hard-working, sensible, able to work under pressure, pleasant, responsible independent, initiative,
outgoing personality and ability to communicate with people at all levels Providing services that are above and beyond for guest satisfaction and retention.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years' of work experience on the same position with a 5* Resort.
Maldives experience would be counted as an advantage
