About Your Job:
As the Manager Executive Development (MED) one will be expected to bring strategic insight to how the Airways develops it's senior leaders. You will be responsible for the design, delivery, management and continuous improvement of exceptional executive development offerings across the Airways. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and overseeing the executive development curriculum for senior managers and executives.
You will lead the executive development initiative to achieve outstanding results linked to business imperatives to forge strong links with key client areas and to secure and maintain executive management sponsorship involvement in development activities. You will consult and engage multiple stakeholders and be able to work with them effectively to ensure delivery.
Implementing innovative and practical executive development initiatives that will ensure the Airways leaders are fully equipped to inspire and support their teams in achieving extraordinary results will be among your tasks. You will design cutting edge interventions to further the development of the Airways Group leaders in line with the executive leadership strategy and as a senior member of the team, contribute to its overall management and service development, all these while researching external programs and new technology that will improve the effectiveness of 1 on 1 and collective Executive Talent Development.
One will be expected to implement a quality improvement mechanism to ensure that executive learning events are current and reflective of best practice. At the same time ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operation to assure employees safety, legislative compliance and delivery of high quality service with a responsible environmental attitude. You will regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans procedures and practices and make appropriate changes if needed.
About You:
You will hold a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university, ideally with a focus on Human Resources, Organisational and Leadership development. You will also have a formal recognised coaching qualification.
10 years of experience with designing and facilitating Executive Development Programs for Senior Management. Aviation and/or Executive Business School experience will be an advantage.
Experience in one or more of the following disciplines are desired: Executive development, industrial psychology, organization development, organisational effectiveness, or executive coaching (management consulting and international experience preferred). Your experience and proven competence in managing executive leadership/management and personal effectiveness projects through to delivery in complex multi stakeholder environment, will be an asset.
