Your job

Together with your team – consisting of Logistic Engineers and Planners - you are managing demand and supply for consumables (e.g. toner, inks) and media for the Company EMEA region. You are managing a team of 5 professionals; inspiring and motivating your team members, enabling the best team performance.

As Junior Manager your main challenges are the following:

-  Support your team members in executing and improving their daily activities, controlling and steering the sales and operation planning process on agreed KPI’s.

-  You are responsible for EMEA demand planning and forecasting, supply performance, inventory and product availability for an assigned product portfolio.

-  You are the ‘linking pin’ between Company Sales Organizations, internal stakeholders and external suppliers ensuring product availability against agreed business policies. For all involved stakeholders you are main point of contact.

-  You identify, drive and deliver improvement projects, like optimizing processes, organization and IT systems and applications within the Company EMEA supply chain network.

- You participate in projects to integrate the legacy demand and supply practices into the company processes.

-  Together with your Company counterparts you align demand planning, inventory and supply policies ensuring uniformity of processes in line with (project) requirements and goals.

You support your manager to help further develop the total EDSM team in Venlo

Required Skills and Qualifications 

Who are we looking for?

· Academic level of working and thinking. Educational background in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field

· About 3-5 years proven working experience in production or supply chain planning or projects, looking for a team lead position in an international organization with a complex multi-stakeholder environment combined with leadership responsibility

· Proven experience with SAP and/or Oracle, and reporting tools

· Ability to influence, convince and motivate people and a drive for results

· Team player with strong planning and problem-solving skills and a pro-active attitude

· Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English – verbal and written
