About Your Job:
The Pricing and RM Process Specialist is responsible for leading the development and implementation of Pricing and Revenue Management (RM) processes, tools and systems. You will be the overall owner of Pricing and RM Processes from Pricing and RM business perspective.
You will enhance and ensure consistency of the current processes, tools and systems to improve communication and data sharing within RM and the local regional sales team. You will assist in the development of relevant pricing and RM KPIs and work with teams and managers to ensure adherence and continuous improvement. You will be the lead in the development, consultation, testing, communication and implementation of new pricing and RM policies and consistent fare rule methodologies. It is important to have full consultation with subject experts and key stakeholders.
You will represent pricing and liaise with other departments on projects as needed. You will ensure that PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) principles are followed with the creation and integration of new processes, reports and tracking.
In addition, you will develop and coordinate the training programmes of new and temporary staff. You will work with RM leadership team to ensure relevant re-training as needed. You will develop training materials/user manuals for key tools and processes in pricing as well as identify staff with specialist knowledge to assist in the delivery of training requirements for the team.
About You:
You must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent specialising in Business, Economics, Math, Statistics or equivalent degree with a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience. You must have strong knowledge of pricing and best practice pricing processes. Having work experience in Pricing and Revenue Management is preferred.
You must have detailed knowledge of fundamentals of airline pricing and direct experience in pricing from an airline. You must have strong quantitative and qualitative skills with strong ability to analyse data and information. Strong knowledge of O&D Revenue Management is important.
You must be a self-starter and has the ability to multi-task and work on strict deadlines. You are required to have solid MS Excel and PowerPoint skills. You must be able to work independently as well as work within a team environment.
You must be fluent in English with clear and concise writing skills. You must also have good influencing and persuading qualities to change attitudes and behaviours of people within the department on the changes and improvements being implemented.
