Responsibilities

Staffing the ticket counter, boarding gates and baggage service areas of the airport (Duties may include check-in, ticketing, gates, baggage service and operations)

Providing assistance and excellent customer service to the traveling public by performing various customer service duties in the airport terminal such as

  • Receiving and directing incoming calls, greeting and directing customers, tagging and handling baggage
  • Preparing tickets, determining fares and routing to assure passenger's travel needs are met
  • Maintaining a neat and professional appearance by adhering to Continental's standards for uniform and dress

    • This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Qualifications:*

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required

Knowledge/Skills

  • Must be able to work the ticket counter as well as the boarding gates and baggage service area required
  • Must have a professional appearance required
  • Must have excellent communication skills required
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and oral) required
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment required
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy baggage required
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire work shift required
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills required

Experience

  • Proven customer service work experience required

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years of age required
  • Must be able to travel to US for training if required
  • Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holiday required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Peru for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position
