Our company is making a move from traditional to energy efficient lighting solutions and we play a part inclimate control by creating lighting control solutions that will help reduce energy consumption around the world.

The Lighting division is going through an amazing transformation and we are looking to appoint a Key Account Manager, Projects in Perth to lead and drive business growth for our company's Lighting Solutions across WA state. This role will have a strong focus on the development of projectspecification sales through major D&C Electrical Contractor and Professional End User accounts.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure lighting design effectiveness and alignment with customers’ criteria, timeline and current stock range for Projects products
• Build Relationships with Key Decision Makers within the Projects market, including Lighting and Electrical Consultants
• Develop project work for large projects where you will participate with Design, Specification, Quotations and Supply Chain to win and successfully manage the implementation of the project
• Provide quotations that are competitive and delivered in a timely manner
• Ensure effective working relationships with team members including Specification Engineer, Design and Quotations Team on demand forecasting and project progress updates

We are looking for:

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in sales and project management
• Relevant B2B selling experience and working knowledge of lighting or similar industries will be highly advantageous
• Polished negotiation and presentation skills and a demonstrated solutions-focused approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and highly competitive market
• Outstanding relationship building and communication skills
• Advanced analytical skills
• High levels of motivation, energy and a drive to achieve results
• A Marketing or Business qualification will be preferred

The team

This role will report into National Sales Manager, Projects and will be based out of our Perth office. This position will be expected to work with a multi-faceted team including Project Designers, Quotation & Specification team, Key Account Managers, Supply Chain and customers i.e. wholesalers,contractors and professional accounts.
