Key accountabilities
Support the Marketing Manager in the development and execution of the social media/communities strategy.
Develop community architecture, working with BI to drive data and use for wider business growth.
Work with agencies to build community websites, user journeys and functionality of site.
Manage, moderate and promote the forums to form deep relationships with customers
Work with the wider marketing team and editorial teams to drive users to engage with our community properties.
Coordinate editorial input, working closely with content and digital teams
Provide reports on community metrics, using Google Analytics and other measurement tools, and find ways to continually improved results
Support the rest of the marketing team to help develop and grow site and turn it into a profitable enterprise
Implement paid promotion for ad hoc social posts and manage the social agencies implementation of social campaigns.
Key experience
Social media experience: you know the ins and outs of Facebook’s privacy settings, are comfortable with Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Vine, Pinterest and other social media platforms. You also know your Buffer from your Hootsuite and how to make the most of tools like them.
Writing skills: you will be comfortable tweeting or writing longer posts with The Times and Sunday Times tone of voice, with impeccable grammar
A past history of successful community build and management
