Brand and Communications insight manager WANTED

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a plan for all continuous research (brand tracker) and ensure rigorous evaluation of brand and product performance
  • Manage research agencies for continuous research; from contracts to deliverables and on-going relationship through to review of agency performance
  • Deliver robust and actionable insights to the business across brand, product and customer experience
  • Through collaboration, provide the business with an in-depth, rigorous evaluation of our key brand health measures and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Work with key stakeholders across the business to prioritise and agree continuous research schedule and improve engagement of brand research across the business.

Experience

  • Previous experience of running a brand tracker or other continuous research studies is essential, ideally including some work running tracking studies within an agency
  • An excellent understanding of the media market, particularly the newspaper industry, and an ability to understand and articulate the issues facing a media owner
  • Experience of working on marketing effectiveness and brand research and analysis techniques. A sound understanding of media research techniques and tools
  • Must be articulate in written and oral skills and be comfortable presenting research at a senior level with gravitas and confidence of putting their point of view across.
