Main responsibilities
Develop and manage a plan for all continuous research (brand tracker) and ensure rigorous evaluation of brand and product performance
Manage research agencies for continuous research; from contracts to deliverables and on-going relationship through to review of agency performance
Deliver robust and actionable insights to the business across brand, product and customer experience
Through collaboration, provide the business with an in-depth, rigorous evaluation of our key brand health measures and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Work with key stakeholders across the business to prioritise and agree continuous research schedule and improve engagement of brand research across the business.
Experience
Previous experience of running a brand tracker or other continuous research studies is essential, ideally including some work running tracking studies within an agency
An excellent understanding of the media market, particularly the newspaper industry, and an ability to understand and articulate the issues facing a media owner
Experience of working on marketing effectiveness and brand research and analysis techniques. A sound understanding of media research techniques and tools
Must be articulate in written and oral skills and be comfortable presenting research at a senior level with gravitas and confidence of putting their point of view across.
