Your responsibilities

As our new Customer Relations Assistant you will ensure that all orders and requests for information and equipment are received and processed in an efficient and professional manner. In this role you will deal with internal staff and external customer enquiries.

Furthermore you will:

  • Ensure that all (primarily telephone) enquiries are handled correctly; providing the customer with the most appropriate advice for the query

  • Log any customer complaints received according to company procedure

  • Maintain full, up to date knowledge of all products, seeking additional training as required

  • Ensure all notes and updates are applied in a timely manner to the essential systems (The Sleep Support Portal, SAP, Encore Anywhere) on a daily basis

  • Maintain a polite, courteous and professional manner at all times

  • Other duties as may be required from time to time, to ensure the efficient running of the business functions and department

Your team

You will enter a team of dedicated Customer Relations Assistants. In this role you will report to the Team, located in Chichester.

We are looking for

To be successful in this role, you should be / have:

  • Ability to work well under pressure as part of a small team

  • An effective communicator, fluent in English

  • Ability to use the telephone with ease in a customer relations environment

  • Good planning and organisational skills

  • Aptitude for technical information

  • Computer literate with good typing skills

  • Good spelling and grammar

  • Experience in a customer service role in an office telephone sales environment

  • A good standard of education with numeracy and literacy

  • Experience of working with Lean/ in a Lean environment (preferable)
