Social Insights Analyst WORK ABROAD

The Social Insights Analyst is responsible for the following;

  • Develop and deliver regular social listening reports both across owned and earned activity from board level summaries to in-depth project reports
  • Analyse and interpret large social media data sets to produce insightful reports
  • Communicate high quality social insights effectively ensuring broad dissemination across the business and providing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Ensure all competitor activities are tracked and reported in social media to a high quality in a timely manner
  • Ad-hoc social listening studies to proactively identify topics, trends and patterns
  • Manage and optimise our social media analytics platforms
  • Analyse the performance of social campaigns and responses to improve customer engagement
  • Set up complex social listening queries, building and refining data queries, cleaning the data and analysing the results

The Social Insights Analyst will have the following skills/experience

  • An excellent understanding of the media market and an ability to understand and articulate the issues facing News UK.
  • Substantial experience of setting up and analysing social insights, specifically experience of wide social media listening across the web
  • Excellent social media analysis, reporting and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate social media data to an audience who are not familiar with social media
  • Extensive experience of using specialist social media listening tools
  • Strong social media data analyst background with experience in social data analytics
  • Experience of using Omniture / Google analytics or other web analytics software desirable
