Your challenge
As a new addition to our Lighting Solutions team, you will be working on setting up key internal and external reporting and analysis used for Executive level review and decision making. You will be part of a team of highly motivated and talented Analysts.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for high-quality insightful analysis and reporting on a very wide range of topics, from the ‘straightforward’ analysis of the our Lighting Solutions monthly results & Executive Committee presentations, to more complex topics. Your responsibilities can be divided in the following key areas:
• Internal Financial Analysis and reporting of business performance: Monthly and quarterly performance, Business Market Combination Reporting (BMC), Target Setting
• External Analysis and reporting of business performance supporting the Investor Relations team, quarterly press releases, and management discussions/analysis in the Annual Report
• Business valuation, annual impairment and quarterly trigger testing
• Return on invested capital analytics, understanding the levers that drives value creation
• Working with PPA Business team to build, standardize and roll-out foreign currency analysis including scenario / sensitivity analysis of currency movements and its impact on the businesses and total Lighting Solutions
• Other adhoc analysis requests for the Executive Committee.
Your team
Within our team, you will be part of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Planning & Performance Analysis (PPA) Sector team currently based in Amsterdam and report to the Head CoE PPA.

We are looking for
Knowledge and critical experience:
• Master Degree in a Business Economics, Finance and/or Accounting orientated study
• 5-7 years of experience in finance, management reporting and business analyses, preferably gained within a multinational environment in either industry or corporate banking sector
• Analytical, pro-active, accurate, result-driven,
• Fluent in English speaking and writing are key;
• Strong communication skills, effectively interact with senior management or executive
levels;
• Well-developed collaboration skills to operate genuinely as a team-player
• Meticulous, result driven, “Can-do-Will-do” mentality and creative.
• Able to work under pressure and combine speed with accuracy of deliverables;
• Able to work with remote or cross-functional teams;
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to learn and use planning and reporting tools to realize deliverables.
