Position summary:
Manage Supplier Quality Improvements and ensure Purchasing- and Supplier- management compliancy to FDA QSR 820 par 50 Purchasing Controls.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership for Supplier Quality function at Site level and drive ‘’one face ’’ towards Supply Base.
Manage directly a team of Supplier Quality Engineers that own the Supplier Quality improvement function for assigned commodity and suppliers in multiple BIU’s of our HeatlthTech.
Drive continuous improvement of SQ functional competence and maturity through coaching, mentoring and promotion of best practice.
Support the development and continuous improvement of Purchasing Controls and implement the outcome in multiple BIU’s QMS’s and ongoing training and implementation support for Purchasing and BIU stakeholders.
Manage the deployment of Purchasing Controls on Site level to ensure regulatory compliance in Purchasing Management and Supply Base management.
Manage the Supplier Quality improvement strategy by monitoring and owning supplier performance metrics, eg. on SCAR, QN, FFOR, GSRS etc.
Drive supplier quality improvement plans with selected suppliers as agreed upon with BIU- , Operations - and Purchasing- stakeholders.
Manage and maintain Supplier Quality KPI’s for monthly and quarterly reporting into BIU Management and into the global SQ function as well.
Manage the BIU/Site -ASL and supplier qualification and classification thereof.
Manage the execution of the Supplier Audit Planning and non-conformity follow-up in the SQE team.
Manage the cross-site Supplier Quality collaboration e.g. supplier audit planning
Participate in creation and execution of global IS-SQ functional strategy goals and objectives.
Represent the SQ function on the Site both with Purchasing Manager and other functional stakeholder management teams.
Requirements:
B.Sc. with 3-5 years active in Purchasing and Supplier Quality Management.
Good understanding of statistical methods, quality tools and methodologies (QFD, CtQ breakdown, DfSS, SPC, AQP, FMEA, Control Plan) - advantage
Six Sigma GB/ BB certification preferred.
Proven experience in leading a team.
Detect business risks, be persistent in follow up and escalate appropriately.
Cross functional skills and awareness of business requirements.
Highly motivated, action oriented, persistent towards accomplishing tasks and drives for success.
Ability to communicate well, oral and written, in English and Hebrew.
