Responsibilities
Manage and accountable for the Engineering Standards Library in SharePoint and any hard copy standards.
Respond to standards process requests; retrieve, sign out, distribute and track the documents.
Indentify and recommend improvement opportunities in the Engineering Standards Library and process.
Ensure all administrative steps in the Engineering Standards Process are completed for each standard request.
Support authors of standards with administrative and non-technical steps of the Engineering Standards Process.
Ensure timely transfer of documents to and from requesters, between stages in the process and updating progress of the standard in the SharePoint Library.
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 12 High School Diploma
Post secondary Records Management Certification preferred.
A minimum of 2 years related experience in a records/document management system environment.
A minimum of 1 years of office administrative experience.
Intermediate level of understanding in SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience with SharePoint site administration a definite asset.
Basic understanding of records management policies and practices.
Able to respond to changing demands while maintaining required standards.
Able to participate in the decision making process in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Strong focus on attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize requests.
Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
Proactive, results focused, with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast paced team.
Proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.
