The role is responsible for:
Accounts receivable, reconciliation and providing financial reports to the General Manager
Developing and maintaining highly efficient office administration systems and procedures including, IT, Telecommunications, filing and record management
Co-ordinating all administrative activities of the company and prioritising workloads as required.
Human Resources management including WorkCover, superannuation, employment contracts, in-house Federal Award, NES and Fair Work Australia queries, management of HR files, Return to Work and Injury Management.
End of Month procedures including payroll tax, Child Support Payments, PAYG withholding
End of Quarter reporting obligations including BAS
End of Financial Year Reporting including, Fringe Benefits Tax, Workcover and payroll tax reconciliations
Executive support of the General Manager
Implementing WHS, Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures and ensure compliance with external and internal auditing
Payroll and associated queries
Convening and managing meetings including agenda minutes and actions
Understanding and ability to compile tender documentation and marketing material
Updating of company website
Required Skills
Experienced with all MYOB features v2015 particularly receivables, payroll, BAS and reporting features
A high degree of computer literacy with an intermediate to advanced level of competency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe packages including Acrobat and InDesign
Experience in tender processes
Experience in HR and Return to Work and Injury management
Qualifications and experience in WHS
Excellent letter writing skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work autonomously and as part of small dynamic team
Experience in the Construction or Civil Construction industry advantageous
Ability to manage a small administration team
