Product Manager--Rice WORK ABROAD

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Aligning with goals of the company and global through effective communication and collaboration, he or she is responsible to support Business Manager and Crop Manager in product management by develop 5 Year business strategies for allocated products in cooperation with cross-functional units and other working streams within Marketing.

2.Developing strategy to include evaluation of strategic alternatives and scenario planning for product development, value proposition definition for brand, product mix, lifecycle management, customer segmentation and distribution (GTM), gross to net pricing evaluation, with the focus on securing market growth opportunities.

3.Defining and achieve long-range business goals for allocated assets, i.e. turnover, share, profit, and expense.

4.Collaborating with relevant crop manager and Marcom manager to ensure effective execution. Guide channel / grower campaign programs consistent with strategic priorities and financial goals. Team lead for new product launches including campaign planning, agency briefing, POP design, launch event, monitoring

5.Business development proposal on potential licensing product requirements

6.Managing business forecast and supply/demand planning, SKU performance analysis/streamlining, and key competitors tracking, supply communication.

7.Taking the effective management of centralized marketing expense budget by agreed project.

8.Team member for new molecule projects (core and proximity innovation)

REQUIREMENTS

Education : BA in Agriculture related majors. Master Degree in Agriculture science or Business management is a plus

Skill: Able to quickly assimilate and analyze information; able to structure complex tasks into clear processes and purposeful working methods; able to lead and guide teams and deliver on multiple projects running simultaneously across functions and sales regions Good influencing skills across functions, cultures and territories; good knowledge about organizational structures, general rules, values and leadership principles of the company; excellent communication and presentation skills; good workshop facilitation and coaching skills; and fluent in English

Experience:4-6 years Marketing and Sales experience in the crop protection market with a strong feel for the realities of the agriculture industry in general, the crop protection market in specific and the crop management needs of the target growers in China in detail. 

Personal characteristic: Highly motivated and self-initiated, strong communicator and have positive attitude. A good networker with a passion for the subject and a keen interest to learn and contribute Willing to motivate and lead project team members, inspiring performance of the highest standard.
