TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT Consultant (m/f) you play an important role in delivering R&D IT projects forthe company. Supporting and consulting in IT and business process. Responsible for the coordination of software vendors, technical tasks and GxP validation. Work in close cooperation with R&D users to implement and support the business processes in biologics research and development by IT solutions. Your tasks will include the following:

• Ensure data integrity and compliance of major applications like Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) in global biological Development/Research

• Scientific content management/data science

• Administration of scientific relevant master data and scripting

• Creation and execution of special as well as custom queries

• Identify demands for IT applications

• Coordination of change requests, oversee change control, support activities and execution of software testing

• Execution of (super-)user training and coordination of training activities

• Coordinate application managers for biological applications

• Support creation and ensure compliance to standards

• Propose improvements, innovations and product lifecycle management

REQUIREMENTS

• Master in Biology/Biotechnology or another adequate biological or biotechnological scientific background

• Experiences in global biologics and/or Research and Development

• Working knowledge in computer system validation (GxP and CFR21/11 requirements) is a plus

• Affinity for IT topics and proven IT competencies e. g. scripting, SQL, databases and programming

• Knowledge of biological Research and Development processes as well as basics in economics

• Good analytical and structured skills

• Being open-minded and challenging the status quo

• Very good English skills, both written and spoken, German is a plus
