TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead one or more development programs on behalf of R&D from the preclinical phase to a successful Proof of Concept, ensuring optimal positioning in relevant markets
• Design and propose an integrated program strategy based on regulatory and commercial as well as consumer requirements/needs
• Build and lead a team of Global Program Team members representing all relevant global functions involved in the development of the program, which creates and delivers on agreed upon plans
• Act as the representative of the Global Program Team and present the program within the company.
• Professional performance management of highly qualified Global Program Team members to achieve team and program objectives
• Accountable for a sufficient communication with respective functions on a global basis
REQUIREMENTS
• MD (m/f) or Natural Scientist (m/f), preferentially with PhD
• Long-term professional experience in novel drug development within the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. Research, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs)
• Extensive cross-functional expertise along the drug development process of new pharmaceuticals
• Proven track of successful cross-functional leadership of global project/program teams
• First line management experience in at least one key project related function
• Demonstrated ability to align skills and competencies of cross-functional teams to accomplish challenging objectives
• Interpersonal sensitivity and strong relationship building skills to interact with decision making bodies and key stakeholders on all levels
• Proven competence to ensure an efficient stakeholder management
• Ability to support innovation and future-oriented concepts
