We are looking to recruit a Front of House Manager to work as part of the management team within our Five Star 26 bedroom luxury hotel in Pitlochry.
The Front of House Manager will ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all times. A professional, personalized standard of service where guest needs are met at every opportunity. As a Front of House Manager you will oversee all the front of house departments which include Concierge and Reception.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth running of the department on a day to day basis
- Ensure accuracy of guest billing, financial reporting, daily banking and cash handling, reservation process.
- Ensure room revenue is maximised at all times , through yield management, occupancy and average room rates
- Ensure room inventory is managed through existing relationships, developing further selling opportunities.
- Undertake recruitment for team members as per company guidelines
- Set and monitor departmental targets, ensuring continual development of each team member
- Act as Duty manager as required.
Essential requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role or Guest service environment at a 4 or 5 star hotel
- Leadership experience
- Good working knowledge of reservations and rate management
- Competent IT skills, knowledge of Navarino and Room master and advantage but not essential as training can be given.
