Responsibilities:
- Employee relations
- Effective communication with the central HR team to ensure consistency of approach and clarity of reporting.
- Supporting with people issues linked to business re-structures and organisational designUnderstanding of current employment legislation and impact on HR processes
- Learning and Development
- Agree a training plan with the Department heads and Directors.
- Liaise with the central L&D team to ensure delivery of agreed training plan.
- Work with the L&D team to develop quality training material specifically for the IT & Ecommerce areas.
- Deliver high energy, interactive training programmes.
- Contribute to the identification of training gaps and development of appropriate solutions.
- Ensure effective management of inductions and follow up of new starters within your business areas.
- Train and coach Line Managers on all aspects of people management.
- Support Senior Managers in ensuring that the training plan produces effective managers for the future.
