Today the European Tommy.com store ships to 21 countries with aggressive plans to roll out to more markets. The store offers a full and expanding range of the company products. Currently the store operates in 5 languages with plans to add more. The operation has been highly successful and has become a cornerstone of the European business, a fundamental part of the plan to grow the European business to €2 billion.

Position Description

The Ecommerce Product Merchandiser will be responsible to optimize the merchandise offer on the website, ensuring alignment with the company strategy & brand values. Overall product management on web site as per agreed targets and objectives • Responsible for ensuring product is displayed correctly on site for own divisional categories. • Management of delivery schedule and alignment with all key stakeholders to drive timely and efficient launch. Interface for buying team between ecommerce site merchandising/ visual merchandising and content team • Communicate weekly site analytics performance • Support and define and execute seasonal strategy to improve the offer online Close collaboration with Site Merchandising team to understand and influence customer journey/behavior and the performance of content and site layout Trading and Analysis • Provide weekly analysis & identify trading opportunities and work with site merchandising, content and CRM teams to achieve budget KPI’s. • Work closely with buyers and local markets on markdown management and seasonal promotions Collaboration with Central Planning on a seasonal level Act as ambassador for the Ecommerce team by promoting and sharing customer knowledge and insights from Tommy.com

Position Requirements

• Minimum 4 years + experience in product merchandising role • Knowledge and experience of working within an e-Commerce environment with an understanding of the metrics that drive ecommerce performance • Self-motivated and commercially aware with an ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment • Professionalism and team orientated attitude • Results driven ttitude • Excellent verbal communication skills • Strong planning, organizational skills, ability to multi-task • Strong computer skills particularly in Excel.
