Department Description
The Central Business Process development department works with all product divisions for our brands. The Department drives Synergies and streamlines processes and tools across all divisions to raise efficiency and drive profitability. It acts as a link between divisions and IT to fulfill training needs, provide tools and new developments in the area of Merchandising, Sales and Buying.
The department works cross-divisional with the product divisions, Central Operations, IT, Brand Merchandising, Central Retail and the countries.
Position Description and responsibilities
The person supports and guides the Divisions and related Buying offices around the world, to work in an aligned way in regards to Collection Planning, Design and Product Development. This Person functions as a bridge between business and IT and actively shares best practice between the divisions.
The role will report to the Process Re-Engineering Director, currently responsible for the implementation of the PLM system at PVH Europe.
There will be a close cooperation with the various divisional departments, Central Sourcing, the Buying offices and IT
- Day to day support of users working with the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system
- Identify process strength and weaknesses and suggest area’s for improvement
- Act as driver of change by taking ownership of managing process changes in predefined areas of the business
- Contribute in delivering projects to be on time and upon agreed deliverables and quality standards
- Develop functional specifications and system design specifications to meet business requirements on PLM
- Interact with the user community and technical resources in order to get PLM requirements delivered
- Contribute in PLM system UAT testing efforts
- Develop training materials, provide training to the user community
- Utilize communication and influencing skills with the user community within predefined focus areas
- Support team members where necessary
Requirements
- University Degree in Business Economics, Management or equivalent, at an internationally minded Business School
- 2-3 years of working experience, preferably in fashion/retail industry or Consultancy
- Expertise in the Product Development process and/or related PLM solutions & implementations
- Excellent written and spoken language skills in English and ability to work in multi-cultural & multi-lingual environment.
- Excellent MS-Office skills( Excel, PowerPoint and Visio), SAP is a pre
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to understand and map complex (supply chain) processes
- Good communication skills, strong team player with excellent social skills
- Ambitious, highly motivated and able to perform in hectic work environment
