Description
The Business Development Manager (BDM) identifies and develops new business opportunities and long-term growth areas, e.g. in defined vertical markets, with high focus on Key Accounts, for products and services from the assigned Strategic Business Unit (SBU), across the Moxa Europe (MEU) region. The BDM will work with prospects and Key Accounts within the targeted markets, to promote and sell assigned SBU’s solutions and develop the relationship. The candidate must have acute business sense to identify major sales opportunity quickly, demonstrate senior-level business proficiency, follow through closely the initial phase of the project until the hand-over to the sales team has been completed and support sales throughout the project as needed.
Responsibilities
•Achieve sales targets and goals for MEU for the SBU business by selling their solutions to targeted markets and Key Accounts.
•Target the specific market and develop the right business model to develop these markets through understanding the specific vertical market and technology trend, emerging standards, customer needs and competition.
•Funnel development for Industrial Video Networking sales opportunities in key projects and existing Key Accounts through co-working with sales, channel sales or direct contact to have a good understanding of Key Accounts organizational structure, project status, business plan and long term strategies.
•Develop and align Industrial Video Networking business plans and implement SBU strategies in EMEA region through co-working closely with SBU and timely communication of all observations
•Clearly identify and set product positioning, value propositions and pricing of solutions in EMEA region through profiling future product needs within the specific market segmentation, key account and key project needs.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in the field of electrical engineering (e.g. communication technology, media communication or similar.
•5 years working experience in related industries.
•Pan-European working experience with exposure to global markets/partners
•3 years of channel sales and development of Business Development experience is a plus.
•Fluent (written and spoken) in English. Second European language is a plus.
