Job Purpose:
The Senior Transaction Manager is in charge of closing deals with the assistance of the legal team and, to the extent possible, bringing in new business coming from existing clients or prospects.
He/she should also be on business trips on a regular basis to clients and/or prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
Informing screening committee about prospective/potential client and presenting files; Drafting, reviewing, commenting, negotiating, executing and/or arranging for execution of finance transaction documentation, in cooperation with the legal tea; Maintaining contact and meeting with (and when necessary visit) clients and their representatives; Participating to business developments by organizing business trips to investments managers, banks, originators, attending and/or being a speaker at seminars, conferences and industry events; Preparing and monitoring issue of global and local TMF memo/reporting related to activity and commercial efforts (e.g.MMR/MLIR); Complete on a daily basis his/her time-writing to ensure appropriate chargeability and proper invoicing of the work performed on behalf of clients.
Key Requirements:
Law Degree: LLM in law, business school; Experience in the structured finance industry being in banks, trust companies or commercial companies having launched programs; Fluent communication, both written and spoken, in English is required.
