Skills/experience

• Trade certificate qualified – essential
• Trade qualified in Carpentry or Painting – highly desirable
• Must be flexible – general work hours will be spread between 6am and 6pm therefore work times will vary. You will also be required to replace the shift workers during leave, sickness and ad hoc situations; the appropriate penalties will apply
• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or a similar varied work environment such as ships, hospitals or retail businesses
• General maintenance knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to be self motivated, work without close supervision and within established timeframes
• Strong work ethic
• A passion for managing a variety of projects and tasks throughout the day
