You will be responsible for assisting with the smooth and efficient running of the department through the supervision of staff in accordance with the established brand standards of Hyatt International. You will also be responsible for maximising guest satisfaction by providing the highest levels of personalised customer service, helping ensure the financial success of the department.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (A refresher course may also be required).
- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality and/or Hotel Management (will be of advantage).
- A local certificate in food handling and hygiene (will be of advantage).
- Previous work experience in a similar environment along with excellent food and wine knowledge.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate, lead, train, guide and direct staff.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage your time.
- Some administration experience along with sound computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office & POS systems.
- The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of five star grooming standards.
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
