About the Role
An exciting position has arisen for an Marketing Communications Manager to join our Marketing Team. This role has three core purposes: to manage marketing for owned brands and support partners; to drive the marketing for key casual brands within the company owned portfolio; and to manage the marketing for new casual brands, whether owned or franchised.
Your main duties will include;
Operational Responsibility
- Executes annual/ long-term F&B marketing plans to drive agreed objectives.
- Works with operations teams to deliver marketing solutions required for short term and long term revenue generation.
- Manages pre-opening activity for new launches
- Identifies methods to increase foot traffic.
- Develops relationships with key stakeholders across Jumeirah and with owners and franchisees
- Plans and executes annual/ long-term corporate marketing plans to drive agreed objectives.
- Manages pre-opening branding for new developments and ongoing marketing campaigns
Brand Management
- Ensures brand standards of marketing material across all channels and in restaurant collateral adhere to VSG as produced for each brand by enforcing the sign-off process and coordinating regular audits with the JRG design department.
- Manages the company's brands via suitable PR activities and intellectual property management.
- Works alongside partners to develop and approve brand material restaurants/bar operations.
- Develops brand training and management materials for the operations teams to support business partners.
- Works with team and partners to register and protect intellectual property rights for JRG core brands.
Public Relations & Internal Communications
- Works with designated agency to approve PR activity for individual outlet brands.
- Maintains relationships with key PR stakeholders in order to keep our key brands in the relevant press.
- Report PR, opening and launch activities to Sales and Marketing Director
- Ensures stakeholder awareness of JRG through Internal Communications team.
- Reviews marketing and promotional material before finalization & ensures it matches with JRG guidelines.
About You
In order to be considered for this role you will ideally possess a Management/ Marketing qualification from a recognized International university. It is essential that you are able to demonstrate at least 3 years of experience at Manager level within Marketing department in the service industry.
It is also essential that you have worked managing 3rd party relationships and displays strong sales and communication ability. With a very strong command of the English language (verbal and written) you will have excellent compture knowledge in MS office. You will also have a passion for working in hospitality and marketing, are solution orientated, creative, dynamic, flexible and a team player.
