Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing, with the Head of Studio Operations and HR Manager, a recruitment strategy for the Vancouver office and productions
Overseeing the recruitment function, focussing on talent pipelines, efficient processes and securing quality talent
Keeping abreast of recruiting best practice, particularly in relation to technology support and communication with talent
Managing a slate of open positions for studio roles and ensuring there is a constant pipeline of qualified candidates
Developing and maintaining close communications with the Sydney Recruiting team
Preparing appropriate reports and ensuring that the recruiting team is keeping reporting activity up to date
Planning and managing recruitment events and offsite visits (i.e. recruiting trips, school visits, and in-house events) and school outreach activities, specifically as they relate to recruiting and future staffing initiatives
Managing job postings on the company website and on various external job boards
Ensuring accurate and optimised use of recruitment tools (i.e. database, applicant tracking system).
